Important update regarding the Accreditation of Teacher Education Degree Programs. As per the official letter issued by the Chairman HEC, Engr. Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, all universities and Degree-Awarding Institutions must ensure that their teacher education programs, faculties, and departments obtain proper accreditation from the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) by Fall 2027. Institutions are advised to initiate the accreditation process without further delay to meet quality standards and avoid any regulatory actions, including the stoppage of admissions in non-compliant programs.
