Fee Structure
Accreditation fee rates for zero, formal, direct formal, and re-accreditation, including open/virtual programs.
- Fee now differs by programme category (BS/B.Ed. 4yr/PhD vs. other programmes), not by institution type.
- The post-zero concession fee (half-fee for first formal after zero) is no longer applicable after 30 September 2026.
- The Alternate Pathway fee tier is no longer applicable.
- Late applicants will be charged a fine of Rs. 100 per day.
- Fees below cover the first 500 enrolled students in each program.
- Add PKR 10,000 for every additional cohort of 250 enrolled students, on top of the fee below.
Accreditation Fee
Applicable from 1 October 2026. Same fee for public and private universities and affiliated colleges.

Re-accreditation is charged at the same rate as Formal Accreditation for the respective programme category.
Validity of Formal Accreditation
As approved at the 26th Meeting of the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) held on 15 September 2026, the revised validity period of formal accreditation is implemented from 1st October 2026.

Institutions must apply for re-accreditation (at the Formal Accreditation fee above) before the validity period expires; late applications attract the per-day fine.
Morning / Evening Programs
Since the same infrastructure, curriculum, and management is used for both shifts, evening-shift programs are charged half the morning-shift fee. Example: Morning PKR 300,000 → Evening PKR 150,000.
Late Application Fine
Institutions must apply within the valid date for formal accreditation or re-accreditation (whichever is applicable). Late applicants will be charged a fine of Rs. 100 per day from the date the valid period expired.
Open / Virtual Programs
For Teacher Education programs offered through Virtual and Distance Education mode (ODL & Asynchronous), the same fees as above apply. Two points are specific to these programs:
- Only the main campus is visited.
- Accreditation extends to all sub-campuses offering that program.
Common Notes
- Face-to-face orientation fee: PKR 50,000, plus travel/accommodation, if requested.
- Duplicate accreditation report fee: PKR 5,000.
